This is the first lot I uploaded, and it was a lot of fun to build. It's based on the apartment building from the old sitcom. We never really saw the outside areas, other than right outside the two main apartments - the Roper's and the kids', so I created that myself, with the balcony area where Chrissy gets "watered", to the garden, and so forth. In fact, the one image we can see shows what's supposedly the Ropers' door, but it's really a photo of a house, not an apartment building at all, so I gave myself free reign. The apartments are decorated as close to what they were as I could make them.

This is the apartment building. The screenshot is taken in Sunset Valley, because that's where I loaded it, but it's better suited to someplace like Starlight Shores, or perhaps Sunlit Tides, some place with good beaches close by. The lot size is 35x35, which can be placed on a 40x40, or if you don't mind mods, you can use Add Any Lot Size by velocitygrass to place the perfect one in the world you choose. Roaring Heights might be good, as the Boardwalk is there.
The building has pretty much everything you see in the show, as far as I can remember, and I've seen it quite a few times. Yeah, yeah, age jokes incoming, I'm sure! You young'uns should be so lucky to have this quality of sitcom today!
There is space for Mr. Roper's car:
Fans of the show know that's a must-have item. The one I used is the "Retro Ride" that came with a Dr. Pepper promotion. If you don't have it, there are some older cars online that you can use. You might even locate this one someplace not official. It was free, so no need to be bothered about "stealing" anything. Just limited time, so some might have missed out. I also included a pool, since it fit on the lot. Not something we ever saw in the show, but what the heck, right? The sims will like having one close. And, yes, I did make the cast.
Three's Company Cast by LadyGreenEyes
Jack Tripper, Janet Wood, Chrissy Show, Mr. and Mrs. Roper, and Larry Dallas are all included. The apartment building is also shared, ready for the sims to move in.
Jack's Hair - this is custom, created by Lapiz Lazuli. There simply wasn't anything in-game that worked for him. From left to right, you have Jack, Janet, Mrs. Roper, Mr, Roper, and Chrissy, and Larry is seated. I never made a Cindy or Terri, though if someone is interested, I'd be glad to do so.
You'll also find a nice little garden, for Mrs. Roper.
There are trees, flowering shrubs, and a few harvestable plants included. There is space for more, so you could add whatever you like. I included a "sweet grass" plant, which fans should appreciate.
In this picture, you can see some hedges for Mr. Roper to trim, and a nice set of azalea bushes. There is space for sims to crouch among these, in case they get stuck outside after a trip to the beach and some daring activity. :D
There are five "apartments" included, one for the three kids, Jack, Janet, and Chrissy, one for the Ropers, one for Larry, and two that are empty, for whatever sims you want to move in. Other than Larry, there weren't any regular residents whom we saw regularly.
Come and knock on their door! Beside the windows is a comfy lounge chair for Chrissy, which was a "must have" for the design.
The kitchen is roomy enough to eat in, and gives Jack plenty of prep room for all of his cooking.
Next is the living room that my generation knows so well. For Janet's plant stand, I used Under Stairs Shelving by Lily of the Valley. Near the bathroom door should be that "ojo de Dios", but I haven't located one. You can hang the Dream Snare from the store, which is a dream catcher, instead, or the Cloth India Star. If you know where to find just the right piece, I'd love a link! You can also add "Small Animals", a puppy painting, to the left of that door. I didn't have those pieces when uploading, so they aren't included. You do have that sofa, the chair, plants, and the table near the door for the phone and radio. There is room in the corner near the bath (left of the door) to fit a rocking chair if you want one.
Remember, those items are not included in the upload. This lot and cast were my first uploads, and I didn't have nearly all of the content at that time.
Then we have the bathroom, where you could say it all started. There is a wall at one end of the tub, because TS3 doesn't have a good one like we saw in TS2, with a curtain that goes around the end. So, I used the Ikea Inspired Braviken Bath Shower by TheNumbersWoman. I did later locate a better one, the colonial tub TS2-3 conversion by Mspoodle, and you can easily switch tubs, and simply delete that little end wall.
As you can see, this one fits much better.
Then there are the bedrooms, one for Janet and Chrissy (Janet had the bed farthest from the door), and one for Jack. Jack's has a desk near the door, not a dresser, because it's a good place for one, and sims can always use a good desk.
That door you see is a walk-in closet for him. The girls have dressers, and a couple of small "closets", which you can fill with whatever, using "moveObjects on". I left those empty.
Up next is the Roper's apartment. The entrance is right there at the base of the stairs, where it belongs. Inside, we have living room, kitchen, master bedroom and bath, and a small guest room.
They also have a private little porch area, which wasn't part of the show, but fit with the building, so I added it on.
Nothing fancy, but it could be a pleasant place to sit.
The living room has that "two piece set", tables, books, a place for the couple to eat outside of the kitchen, and a piano for Mrs. Roper.
We never saw a guest room, but they had some guests, so I assumed there was one. We also never saw the kitchen, so I made that old-fashioned looking, since Roper never wanted to spend money.
Finally, we have their bedroom, which looks far more romantic than it actually is.
Then there is Larry's apartment.
He's right upstairs from the kids, in a one-bedroom place. We didn't see much of it, so I kept the furnishing to a minimum.
As stated, there are also two empty apartments.
The first is a one-bedroom place, located on the first floor, with an entrance near the pool.
On the second floor, with the entrance to the left of the stairs, is the second empty apartment. This is a smaller one, furnished with a single bed.
If you want the sims all sleeping in their proper places, you'll have to assign bedrooms, and you could use the doors from University to help, or use a locking door mod to set each apartment for specific sims. If only EA had given us real apartment in TS3...*sigh*.
Anyway, that's it for my very first shared lot. Hope you enjoy, and if you do, please share with others so that they can as well. Don't claim my lot, and if you upload in a world, you must link to the exchange page and this thread, and give proper credit. Look for more creations that I've shared, as I post them here, and feel free to visit my studio for all of the stuff I've already uploaded.
